Corruption like Corona, Wuhan, virus spreading from Delhi: Sibal in Rajasthan crisis

New delhi date. 19 July 2020, Sunday

Other Congress leaders are also getting angry over the political crisis in Rajasthan. Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal spoke of developing the vaccine by linking the current situation in the region with Corona. In short, Kapil Sibal has demanded a drastic law by amending the constitution to deal with defectors.

Kapil Sibal tweeted, "Vaccine needed. The virus of corruption is meant to try to overthrow an elected government and is spread by providing a 'Wuhan-like facility' in Delhi. Immunity against this virus can be developed through research in the tenth list of the constitution.

"Such people should be barred from joining any kind of public office for the next five years," Sibal wrote, demanding a ban on all defectors. At the same time, the next election should be banned.

What is in the 10th Schedule of the Constitution?

The 10th Schedule to the Constitution mentions provisions relating to defections. It is also known as the Anti-defection Act. The 10th Schedule to the Constitution was added in 1985 by the 52nd Amendment Act. It describes the process by which MLAs or MPs are disqualified by the Presiding Officer of the Legislature or Parliament on the basis of a change of party on the application of another member of the House. This law applies to both Parliament and the State Legislature.

It is worth mentioning that the spread of corona all over the world started from the city of Wuhan, China. US President Donald Trump has repeatedly blamed China for the Corona virus. In these circumstances, Kapil Sibal has targeted the central government sitting in Delhi, marking Delhi's role in spreading the virus of corruption.

Where did the political crisis start?

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot last week alleged that an attempt was being made to buy and sell MLAs to destabilize the Congress government. He also claimed that the BJP was playing a political game and trying to overthrow its own government.

Not only that, the government has also deployed a Special Task Force (SOG) of Rajasthan Police to investigate it. The SOG then summoned Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot and Chief Whip of the government Mahesh Joshi to give statements.
