Bhumi Pujan will be held on 5th August for construction of Ram Mandir, suspense regarding PM Modi's presence

New delhi date. 18 July 2020, Saturday

Construction of the Ram temple may begin soon. According to sources, Bhumi Pujan will be held on the 5th of August and Prime Minister Narendra Modi may also be involved in the program. Mahant Kamal Nayan Das, successor to the chairman of the Shriram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust, said that the chairman of the trust, Nritya Gopal Das, had written a letter to Prime Minister Modi inviting him to pay homage to the land of the Ram temple.

However, no official information has been received about the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mahant Kamal Nayan Das had earlier said that the trust wants to worship the land for the construction of the Ram temple during the month of Shravan. However, the construction of the magnificent Ram temple in Ayodhya has not been decided yet.

An important meeting of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust is going to be held today at the Circuit House in Ayodhya to take a decision in this regard. Nrupendra Mishra, chairman of the temple construction committee, will also be present at the meeting. He has been present in Ayodhya since July 16. KK Sharma, former director general of BSF and security adviser to Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, also accompanied him.

Along with him, a large team of engineers is also present in Ayodhya who are keeping an eye on the subtleties of temple construction. Apart from Chandrakant Sompura, who designed the model of the Ram temple, his son Nikhil Sompura has also reached Ayodhya who may be involved in today's meeting. There is constant speculation about the date of construction of the temple. Under these circumstances today’s meeting is expected to seal the date.

Formation of trust as per order of Supreme Court

Today's meeting will discuss the various stages of the project after the land is leveled. The trust has been set up as per the order of the Supreme Court to oversee the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Mahant Nritya Gopal Das himself is the president of the trust.

Apart from that, former Prime Minister's Secretary to the Prime Minister Nrupendra Mishra, Additional Union Home Secretary Gyanesh Kumar and Additional Chief Secretary to the Uttar Pradesh Government Avanish Awasthi are among its members. In today's meeting, the basic issue of the pillar of the temple can be discussed.
