Pilot talks to Chidambaram, gets invitation to return, assures post at Center

New delhi date. 17 July 2020, Friday

In the midst of Rajasthan's political crisis, Sachin Pilot has spoken to senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram. According to sources, Chidambaram invited the pilot to return late at night and assured him that the mutiny would be foiled. Chidambaram has made it clear that the situation will not be the same as before and at the same time assured him of a position in the central leadership.

"The doors of the party have never closed for him," the Congress high command told Sachin Pilot. According to a recent report, Sachin Pilot himself has tried to compromise. He spoke to P. Chidambaram late at night and Chidambaram also invited Sachin Pilot to return. It is learned that P. Chidambaram told Sachin Pilot, 'You come back to the party. The rebellion of you and your personal legislators will be forgiven. The rebellion will be considered as a closed chapter. Any notices that have been sent so far will be technically resolved.

Sachin Pilot has been assured of a position in the central leadership. It may be mentioned that Ashok Gehlot has now openly opened a front against Sachin Pilot. In these circumstances, it is doubtful whether Sachin Pilot will return to the government or the state organization. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that it was our Deputy Chief Minister who was making a deal with the BJP to form a government.

The Congress high command was offended by Ashok Gehlot's direct attack on Sachin Pilot and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra herself handed over the responsibility of persuading the two leaders to Sachin Pilot.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had handed over the responsibility of persuading Casey Venugopal and Ahmed Patel to Sachin Pilot. In the midst of all this, Sachin Pilot himself has spoken to senior Congress leader and former Union Minister P. Chidambaram. Under these circumstances, if the pilot returns, the question is whether his size in the party will be the same as before.
