Heavy rains have flooded the underpass in the Minto Road area of Delhi and at that time a DTC bus passing through the underpass was submerged.
As the bus sank in the water, people got out of the bus and climbed on the roof and were taken out with ladders. In Delhi, on the one hand, the rains have relieved the heat, while on the other hand, many places are experiencing difficulties due to flooding. Rain is expected in Delhi on Sunday, according to the meteorological department.
The monsoon will move northwards and stabilize in the next 3-4 days, according to the Meteorological Department. Heavy rains are expected in Delhi and adjoining states from July 19 to 21.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi is likely to receive light to moderate rains for the next two days. According to Kuldeep Srivastava, president of the department's regional forecasting center, the monsoon has started moving in a northerly direction.
