As many as 170 employees of the world-famous Tirupati Balaji Temple have been infected, raising concerns among temple administrators. YV Subba Reddy, chairman of the temple, says 170 employees have been infected in Koro.
They said that as many employees as there are now over 60 years of age in the temple have been given leave. If the situation worsens, the temple may be closed to devotees.
The chairman of the temple says that if the priests of the temple are healthy, the worship of Lord Balaji can be done well. There is no question of reducing vision. At present, there is an atmosphere of fear among the people as the case is increasing.
