48 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation: During the last 24 hrs of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (19 of Darjeeling and 29 from Jalpaiguri district) tested positive. They are: 6 of Ward no. 36; 4 of Ward no. 37; 3 of Ward no. 33; 2 of Ward nos.5, 38, 41; 1 of Ward nos.16, 21, 23, 26, 32, 39, 42 and others tested positive.
73 of Darjeeling district:
Of the 73 positive cases of Darjeeling district 19 are from Darjeeling district of SMC while 54 cases are reported from different areas of the district during the last 24 hrs. They are 1 of Darjeeling MC (of Lebong), 5 of Kurseong MC (of MV Road, Buddhagram), 13 of Pulbazar (of Bijanbari, Liza hill and Bijanbari), 2 of Sukhiapokhari, 3 of Takdah, 5 of Sukuna, 11 of Matigara, 4 of Naxalbari, 3 of Phansidewa, and 10 of Khoribari.
Darjeeling district has 5202 confirmed cases of which 4450 have recovered and 75 died while 677 are active cases.
Nil of Kalimpong: No new cases reported from Kalimpong. Kalimpong district has 490 confirmed cases of which 433 have recovered, 3 died and 54 are active cases.
34 of Malda: 34 new cases reported today from Malda. Malda has 5038 confirmed cases of which 4546 have recovered and 39 died and 419 are active cases.
140 of Alipurduar: 1 of Sobhagunj died, 140 new cases reported. In the district there are 2284 confirmed cases of which 1494 have recovered and 18 died while 772 are active cases.
145 of Coochbehar: 145 new cases of Covid 19 infection. The complete report of the district is 3190 confirmed cases of which 2299 have recovered, 10 died and 881 are active cases.
71 of Jalpaiguri: 71 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. Jalpaiguri has 3799 confirmed cases of which 35 died while 2987 have recovered and 777 are active cases.
36 Discharged:
After testing negative and recovery 36 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.
NBMCH
8 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There is no patient in ID-1 and in Surgical Isolation, 3 patients in Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU), and 5 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted. 1 of Jorebunglow admitted.
DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital
At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 80 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 9 are newly admitted while 6 are released.
5 of Kurseong, 1 of Takdah, and 1 of Mirik and 1 of Jorebunglow, 1 of Ganesh gram and 3 of Kalimpong of GTA area are admitted.
DESUN Covid Hospital
In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 51 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 4 patients are newly admitted and 5 released. 5 of Darjeeling, 2 of Kurseong, 1 of Rongtong, 1 of Jorebunglow, 1 of Takdah and 1 of Kalimpong, of GTA area are admitted in this hospital. 2 released.
NIVEDITA Nursing Home
51 patients are admitted of which 13 are in ICU including a doctor of Bagdogra and are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 38 are Covid patients. 5 released.

The number of people in the district of Darjeeling are, 835 in home quaramtine - in Kalimpong district 681 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1516.
There are 23 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 45 in GTA area and 45 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 3 in 3 Safe home out side GTA area, the tally being 116 as active cases.
Number of Covid patients in the eight districts of North Bengal
Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 5202 confirmed cases of which 4450 have recovered and 75 died while 677 are active cases.
Similarly Kalimpong district has 490 confirmed cases of which 433 have recovered, 3 died and 54 are active cases.
Alipurduar has 2284 confirmed cases of which 1494 have recovered and 18 died while 772 are active cases.
