For the second day in a row, the world recorded a record 255,848 cases of corona in a single day, according to the World Health Organization. Most of the new cases were reported in the US, India, Brazil and South Africa.
The death toll from the corona also rose to 7,360 in a single day, the highest number of deaths recorded in a single day since May 10. The corona virus has killed a total of six million people so far. An average of 4,800 deaths were reported daily in July. A total of 1.43 crore cases of corona were reported worldwide on Sunday.
Corona has a total death toll of more than 600,000, according to data from Johns Hopkins University in the United States. The highest death toll in the United States was 1.40 in Corona. Brazil was second with 78,772, followed by the UK at 45,385, Mexico at 38,888 and Italy at 35,045. In terms of corona cases, South Africa ranks fifth in the world with a total of 3,50,879 cases.
The death toll from the corona in South Africa has risen to 4,948. Gauteng, Pretoria and Johannesburg have now become centers of corona infection. In Brussels, meanwhile, leaders from 27 European countries were discussing the proposed 1.85 trillion euro EU budget and Corona's recovery fund for the third day in a row.

The British PM likened the second nationwide lockdown to nuclear weapons

We have not had a vaccine for SARS for 18 years. There are currently 294,000 cases of corona in Britain and 45,273 deaths.
