90 fighter jets, American warship with 3000 troops arrived in the Andamans

Amid the ongoing conflict between India and China on the Ladakh border, India's ally America has started besieging China. The United States has stepped up its warships from the South China Sea to the Indian Ocean.

The USS Nimitz, an aircraft carrier in the 7th Fleet of the US Navy, has now reached the Andaman and Nicobar Islands with 90 fighter jets and more than 3,000 troops after completing military exercises in the South China Sea with allies such as Taiwan and Japan. The Indian Navy is already conducting war games in the area.

China, which claims a monopoly on the South China Sea, has recently stepped up its activities in the Indian Ocean. However, now the US has deployed three of its aircraft carriers in the area to control its activities in the Indian Ocean.

One of them is currently USS Ronald Reagan in the South China Sea while USS Theodore Roosevelt is stationed around the Philippine Sea. Fed up with such aggressive US activities, China has repeatedly threatened war.

USS Nimitz is considered to be one of the most powerful American super carriers. The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier was inducted into the US Navy on May 3, 1975. This is a part of Carrier Strike Group 11, which has the power to destroy many countries on its own.

In addition to 90 fighter jets and helicopters, the 332-meter-long aircraft carrier carries about 3,000 Navy troops. Along with India, the US, Japan and Australia are ready to encircle China in the Indian Ocean. Now if China does any mischief, it will have to suffer the consequences.

China is trading mostly with Gulf and African countries through the Indian Ocean. Most of China's energy imports come this way. If the Indian navy blocks the route, China could face a shortage of many items, including crude. China will not be able to import or export in this way.

Amid ongoing tensions with China, India is also conducting war games near the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. These include destroyers, warships, patrol aircraft and submarines. Apart from this, the Poseidon-8i, MK-54 lightweight torpedoes equipped with submarine detection and destructive Harpoon block missiles are also a part of this drill.
