India's congratulations to North Korea's eccentric dictator Kim Jong Un are hotly debated in North Korea's state media.
Atul Gotsarve, India's ambassador to North Korea, sent a congratulatory message and a bouquet of flowers to Kim Jong-un on the occasion of his eight-year tenure as a marshal. The Indian ambassador also prayed for Kim Jong-un's recovery.
After India's message, it is being discussed in the North Korean media. The message of the Indian ambassador has found a place in the state newspapers of North Korea but it has also been broadcast in the news channel there.
In North Korea, which is cut off from the rest of the world, the messages of the ambassador of any other country are seldom important. The news reader read the whole message on North Korea's main television channel.
Very few will know that when the Korean War broke out, India sent an ambulance unit to treat people and it treated 2.20 lakh people.
After the war, two countries, North Korea and South Korea, came into existence.
