With the Digital India program, India embarked on an ambitious journey to empower its citizens by using Information & Communications Technologies (ICT).
Since 2009, every two years, the Digital India Awards platform bestows on us an opportunity to review the significant milestones we have crossed during this journey.
Each milestone is a tribute to the untiring efforts in designing citizen-centric digital solutions that bring government services closer to the citizens, thus enhancing the quality of life for all stakeholders.
In the sixth edition of the Digital India Awards, we will witness the felicitation of 24 teams across seven categories. These 24 digital initiatives are appreciated richly to make the lives of citizens better, safer & happier.
Hon'ble President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind will grace the occasion & confer the awards in a virtual ceremony scheduled at 11 am IST on Wednesday 30th December, 2020 in the presence of Union Minister for Law & Justice, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad.
