Bhagawati Roy, 35 yr old of Paschim Dharamtala Fulbari;
Lahari Jana, 90 yr old of Ahsramnagar Debidanga died in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital.
Anil Sinha, 73 yr old of Military Road Shivmandir Matigara died in Desun Covid Hospital.
Amalendu Sarkar, 56 yr old of Shivdandgipara Islampur died in a Nursing Home at Sevoke Road
21 in SMC:
21 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (15 in Darjeeling and 6 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive.
21 in Darjeeling district:
Of the 21 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district, 15 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC while 3 are from the Darjeeling hills and they are- 1 in Darjeeling Municipality, 2 in Mirik. Of the plains they are-3 in Matigara, tested positive.

1 death, 84 new cases, 87 release reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 87 new cases, 13591 confirmed cases of which 144 died while 12731 have recovered and 716 are active cases.
72 Discharged:
After testing negative and recovery 72 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital, Nivedita Nursing Home, Tribeni Covid Hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.

During the last 24 hours 6 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 4 patients admitted in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward, 1 in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward, and 1 patient in Surgical isolation ward and no patients in Isolation ward -1.
1 of Fagu Gorubathan Kalimpong–total 1 of GTA area are admitted.

QUARANTINE CENTRES AND SAFE HOMES
The number of Covid-19 infected people in the district of Darjeeling are, 326 in home quarantine - in Kalimpong district 529 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 855.
There are 13 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital and one isolation ward of NBMCH outside GTA area, 17 in GTA area and 10 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 4 in Safe home outside GTA area, the tally of GTA being 44 active cases in Covid hospitals and safe homes.
