One security officer has been shot to death, four have been shot leaving two critically injured and another was stabbed during the past seventy-two hours.
There have also been two confirmed cases of death from the Coronavirus virus.
Police in Texas, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, California and Georgia are all investigating incidents where security officers working at a convenience store, two nightclubs and an apartment complex were attacked and injured or killed.
Another security officer in Pasadena California pull up to meet someone and was attacked by multiple people as he exited his vehicle. He was disarmed of his handgun, robbed of cash, jewelry and his water and left injured.
Police said that the robbery took place about 2:35 p.m. in the 100 block of Pepper Street, just west of Fair Oaks Avenue, Pasadena police Lt. Sean Dawkins said.
Philadelphia police say that a security officer on duty at a convenience store was stabbed multiple times after telling a man to leave the property.
As of today, the security office is listed in critical but stable condition.
