57 recovered from Covid-19, Fresh positive cases during last 24 hrs – 22 in Kalimpong, 3 in Darjeeling Municipality, 3 in Kurseong Municipality, 2 in Pulbazar, 3 in Mirik, 1 in Sukhiapokhari. Of the plains they are- 3 in Sukuna, 11 in Matigara, 3 in Khoribari, 6 in Naxalbari, and 3 in Phansidewa tested positive. 23 in Alipurduar, 12 in Coochbehar, 58 in Jalpaiguri and 22 in Malda tested positive.

2 Death:
Md Amiruddin, 75 yr old of Mathachulka Matelli died in RICU ward of NBMCH.
Prabhati Saha, 76 yr old of South Colony Sahudangi Siliguri died in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital.
59 in SMC:
59 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (42 in Darjeeling and 17 in Jalpaiguri districts) tested positive.
80 in Darjeeling district:
Of the 80 tested positive cases of Darjeeling district, 42 are from the Darjeeling district of the SMC while 12 are from the Darjeeling hills and they are- 3 in Darjeeling Municipality, 3 in Kurseong Municipality, 2 in Pulbazar, 3 in Mirik, 1 in Sukhiapokhari. Of the plains they are- 3 in Sukuna, 11 in Matigara, 3 in Khoribari, 6 in Naxalbari, and 3 in Phansidewa tested positive.
State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Darjeeling district records 61 new cases,16206 confirmed cases of which 15159 have recovered and 188 died while 859 are active cases.
22 in Kalimpong:
22 new cases from Kalimpong is reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Kalimpong district records 8 new cases, 1928 confirmed cases of which 1799 have recovered, 22 died and 107 are active cases.
22 in Malda:
22 new cases reported today from Malda. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Malda records 27 new cases, 11830 confirmed cases of which 11314 have recovered and 106 died and 410 are active cases.
23 in Alipurduar:
23 new cases, 14 release reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Alipurduar records 12 new cases, 7371 confirmed cases of which 7191 have recovered and 85 died while 95 are active cases.
12 in Coochbehar:
12 new cases reported. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Coochbehar records 47 new cases, 10996 confirmed cases of which 10430 have recovered, 66 died and 500 are active cases.
58 in Jalpaiguri:
58 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. State Health department’s daily bulletin states that within the last 24 hours Jalpaiguri records 58 new cases, 13132 confirmed cases of which 140 died while 12176 have recovered and 816 are active cases.
57 Discharged:
After testing negative and recovery 57 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital, Nivedita Nursing Home, Tribeni Covid Hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.
NBMCH
During the last 24 hours 19 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There are 6 patients in Surgical isolation ward, and 10 in Gynecological Maternity Isolation ward, 3 patient in Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) ward and no patient in Isolation ward -1 are admitted.
DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital
At present in Dr.Chhang’s SS Covid Hospital at Matigara, 69 Covid-19 patients are admitted while 19 are in ICU, while during the last 24 hours 6 patients are newly admitted and 1 are released.
DESUN Covid Hospital
In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 48 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 15 patients are newly admitted, 7 are released.
