Manju Devi, 60 year old of Salugara died at Desun Hospital.
49 of SMC:
49 of Siliguri Municipality Corporation (36 of Darjeeling and 13 from Jalpaiguri district) tested positive during the last 24 hrs. They are: 6 of Ward no. 31; 4 of Ward no. 13; 3 of Ward nos. 15, 17; 2 of Ward nos. 14, 21, 22, 27, 42 ; 1 of Ward nos. 2, 3, 9, 10, 12, 25, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 46, 47 and others tested positive.
87 of Darjeeling district:
Of the 87 positive cases of Darjeeling district 36 are from Darjeeling district of SMC while 51 cases are reported from different areas of the district during the last 24 hrs. They are 2 of Darjeeling MC, 2 of Pulbazar, 2 of Sukhiapokhari, 7 of Mirik, 5 of Sukuna, 11 of Matigara, 10 of Naxalbari, 11 of Phansidewa (8 of a family) and 1 of Khoribari.
Darjeeling district has 5570 confirmed cases of which 4821 have recovered and 81 died while 668 are active cases.
3 of Kalimpong: 3 new cases reported from Kalimpong. Kalimpong district has 534 confirmed cases of which 465 have recovered, 3 died and 66 are active cases.
34 of Malda: 1 died, 34 new cases reported today from Malda. Malda has 5190 confirmed cases of which 4861 have recovered and 39 died and 290 are active cases.
34 of Alipurduar: 34 new cases reported. In the district there 2759 confirmed cases of which 1979 recovered and 21 died while 759 are active cases.
51 of Coochbehar: 2 died, 51 new cases of Covid 19 infection. The complete report of the district is 3699 confirmed cases of which 2816 have recovered, 14 died and 869 are active cases.
10 of Jalpaiguri: 10 new cases reported from Jalpaiguri today. Jalpaiguri has 4201 confirmed cases of which 37 died while 3437 have recovered and 727 are active cases.
58 Discharged:
After testing negative and recovery 58 from Dr. Chhang’s SS hospital, Desun Covid hospital and others from Safe homes were discharged today.
NBMCH
11 suspected Covid patients are admitted in three Isolation Wards of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). There 6 patients in Respiratory Illness Care Unit (RICU), and 5 in Female -Gynecological Isolation ward are admitted. 1 staff tested positive.
1 of Pedong and 1 of Jorebunglow are admitted.
DR. CHHANG'S SS Covid Hospital
At Dr. Chhang’s Super Speciality Covid hospital 70 patients are admitted today in this hospital at Himanchal Vihar of which 1 is newly admitted while 9 are released.
4 of Kurseong, 1 of Lower Rose Bank, and 1 of Gurung gaon and 1 of Jorebunglow, 1 of Ganesh gram and 1 of Kalimpong of GTA area are admitted. 2 are released.
DESUN Covid Hospital
In DESUN Covid Hospital at Kawakhali, 76 Covid-19 patients are admitted and 7 patients are newly admitted and 6 released.1 died
1 of Naya Busty, 1 of Takdah, 4 of Kurseong and 2 of Darjeeling, and 1 of Kalimpong, of GTA area are admitted, 2 released and 2 of Darjeeling referred.
NIVEDITA Nursing Home
52 patients are admitted of which 13 are in ICU including a doctor of Bagdogra and are being treated in Isolation ward of this hospital. Of these 32 are Covid patients. 4 released.

QUARANTINE CENTRES AND SAFE HOMES
The number of people in the district of Darjeeling are, 972 in home quaramtine - in Kalimpong district 671 in home quarantine, the tally of GTA area stands to 1643.
There are 23 Covid patients in 2 Covid hospital outside GTA area, 37 in GTA area and 49 more Covid patients in 5 Safe Homes of GTA, 4 in 3 Safe home outside GTA area, the tally of GTA being 108 active cases in Covid hospitals and safe homes.
Number of Covid patients in the eight districts of North Bengal
Today’s daily state bulletin stated that Darjeeling district has 5680 confirmed cases of which 4929 have recovered and 81 died while 670 are active cases.
Similarly Kalimpong district has 539 confirmed cases of which 475 have recovered, 3 died and 61 are active cases.
Alipurduar has 2851 confirmed cases of which 2081 have recovered and 23 died while 747 are active cases.
Jalpaiguri has 4236 confirmed cases of which 37 died while 3496 have recovered and 703 are active cases.
Coochbehar has 3791 confirmed cases of which 2970 have recovered, 14 died and 807 are active cases.
Malda has 5224 confirmed cases of which 4918 have recovered and 40 died and 266 are active cases.
Uttar Dinajpur has 2497 confirmed cases of which 2249 have recovered and 23 died and 225 are active cases.
Dakshin Dinajpur has 4107 confirmed cases of which 3746 have recovered and 26 died and 335 are active cases.
