SAHS taps Errick Farmer as Assoc. Dean

Errick Farmer, Ph.D., has been named associate dean of the FAMU School of Allied Health Sciences (SAHS) effective July 1.

Farmer will oversee faculty responsibilities related to teaching, research and service within the six divisions of the school. He will also chair the school's assessment committee, and serve as the school's executive officer in the dean's absence.

"I’m excited that I will assist with the overall academic and administrative operations of the school, which includes the school’s success, growth and future," said Farmer. "I'm also excited about the opportunity to work with an accomplished faculty and dean who have a history of success."

Farmer joins SAHS after a seven-year stint working in FAMU's School of Business and Industry (SBI) as an associate professor of leadership development.

Farmer received a doctoral degree in educational Leadership and a master’s degree in applied social sciences from FAMU. He also has a bachelor's degree from Florida State University (FSU) in communication business.
